The Milione Country House is an exclusive starting point for long walks or rides on bike across the countryside, in a natural landscape rich in vegetation which becomes increasingly interesting as you approach the Stella river flowing not far from it, and which is unquestionably the most beautiful resurgence river in the southern part of the Friuli plain.
It is possible to navigate along the Stella river, either by boat or canoe, finding historic remains and a rich variety of animals and vegetation along the way.

Within 50 kilometers from the Milione you can also reach the main archeological, historic and cultural sites in Friuli Venezia Giulia: Aquileia, Palmanova, Grado, Strassoldo, Concordia Sagittaria, Cividale, Duino, Udine and Trieste. The Contemporary Art Center of Villa Manin is only 15 minutes away by car.

Sporty people will have the opportunity to practice their favorite sports: from riding grounds to the 18 holes of Golf Club Lignano; from navigation along the Stella river to the sports centers of Aprilia Marittima; from bike paths for amateurs to itineraries for motorbike riders spanning from the sea to the mountains in a short distance. For sea lovers, the beaches of Lignano and Bibione are only a few minutes’ away, and there they can indulge in sunbathing and shopping.

But if you are seeking peace and tranquility, you can spend quiet hours simply resting at the Milione Country House, where you have the opportunity to lounge in the 16-meter long swimming pool with a Jacuzzi-equipped corner and solarium. From there, it is possible to enjoy the view of the countryside stretching from the Friuli plain up to the Dolomites of Carnia, which are about 100 kilometers away and can be reached for a visit fairly conveniently.

Surrounded by vineyards and fields, the Country House is gradually engulfed in the nature, which provides an ideal habitat for hares, foxes, herons, roe deers, pheasants and many bird species. The Milione Country House organizes sports and sightseeing itineraries: from a horse ride on the beach of Lignano or along the bank of the Tagliamento river to a flight with a hang-glider on the Stella river or the Marano Lagoon.
